Tigo Tanzania is now Yas Tanzania, committed to creating a digital future for all Tanzanians. We seek a Head of Shops Operations to lead and elevate the performance, efficiency, and customer experience across all Yas-owned shops.

This leadership role is pivotal for an experienced professional passionate about delivering exceptional retail operations and customer satisfaction in a dynamic and evolving industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial functions, such as Sales, Product, and Services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading brand management or customer experience.
• Experience in telecom or bank branch management is an added advantage.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations across all Yas-owned shops.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of shop managers and employees.
• Maintain high standards for customer experience and brand consistency in all Yas-owned shops.
• Set ambitious sales and profitability targets and design strategies to achieve or exceed them.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a signature customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards in all shop operations.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in data interpretation and decision-making.
• Expertise in shop operations, including inventory management, sales forecasting, and customer experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications products, services, and industry trends.
