Job Overview
TANROADS Njombe Hiring Assistant Land Surveyor (1 Post), Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is an agency under the Ministry of Works, responsible for developing and maintaining the trunk and regional roads network in Tanzania Mainland. Additionally, TANROADS is responsible for conducting axle load control operations and airport construction.
Assistant Land Surveyor (1 Post)
Entry Qualifications:
- Tanzanian citizen with a diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least three years of working experience in the related field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation and sketches, maps, and reports of works performed.
- Assist in reviewing survey data for accuracy, including measurements and calculations.
- Record the results of surveys, including shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions.
- Assist in determining specifications for aerial photography.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Competence:
- Must be computer literate.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure outside working hours with minimum supervision.
Terms of Service: Specified contract for one year or more.
Salary: TANROADS salary scale with site allowances as per the TANROADS incentive policy.
