Position Summary:
The Procurement and Administration Assistant will oversee administrative and procurement activities to support the successful implementation of the project. Key responsibilities include procurement planning, communication management, and ensuring efficient front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned, implemented, and managed procurement and administrative functions in alignment with project goals.
- Manage communication channels and front-office activities to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain organizational systems and tools to support procurement and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in procurement, preferably in donor-funded projects (e.g., FCDO).
- Proven experience in the procurement of commodities and services in Tanzania.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Swahili is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to develop and implement new systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
