Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Lecturer will:

1. Teach up to Bachelor Degree level (NTA Level 8 or equivalent).
2. Prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises.
3. Conduct research, seminars, and case studies.
4. Engage in consultancy and community services.
5. Supervise students’ projects.
6. Develop and review existing curricula.
7. Prepare teaching manuals.
8. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Law specializing in Maritime Law or International Maritime Law with a GPA of at least 3.8.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a GPA of at least 3.5.
• Degrees must be obtained from recognized institutions.

Remuneration

The position offers a competitive package within the PHTS 2.1 salary scale.
