Matric Results 2024/2025 NSC Examination
The officials will release the South Africa Matric Result 2024/2025 on its official website (https://www.education.gov.za/). Therefore, the students must know the process to access the result online. However, the candidates can also check the result by clicking on the direct link given in the updates section of this article.
Therefore, for the information of the students, we are giving a few basic steps to check the online result. Candidates can visit the link given below.
The 2024 National Senior Certificate examinations will conclude on 28 November 2024, and the Minister of Basic Education, Ms Siviwe Gwarube, will announce the outcome of the examinations on 15 January 2025. Results will be released to candidates on 16 January 2025. Some results may not be available because of technical issues.
Candidates are urged to get their statements of results from their school or center where they wrote the exams. Candidates’ results will also be available on this website from 6am on 16 January 2025.
Result queries should be submitted for investigation within 30 days after the release of results.
Candidates must ensure that names and identity numbers reflect correctly on their statement of results and report any required corrections to the Department before 21 February 2025.
To check the Matric Results for the 2024/2025 NSC Examination, follow these steps:
Release Dates
- The National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations for 2024 will conclude on 28 November 2024.
- The results will be announced by the Minister of Basic Education on 15 January 2025 and will be available to candidates from 6 AM on 16 January 2025.

Important Notes
Ensure that your name and ID number are correctly reflected on your statement of results, and report any discrepancies to the Department of Basic Education by 21 February 2025.
If you wish to apply for re-marking or re-checking of your exam scripts, you must do so by 31 January 2025.

A candidate may apply at the prescribed fee for the remark/recheck of his/her examination scripts. Registration can be done at either the school or district office in the province or online at www.eservices.gov.za (all instructions appear on the reverse side of the Statement of Results).
Closing date for applications: 31 January 2025 for both manual applications and online applications.
