Standard Bank Tanzania is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team in Geita. As the first point of contact for our customers, the Teller will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding banking experiences while ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify customer identities and ensure the confidentiality of account information.
- Maintain balanced cash drawers and accurate records of transactions.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless branch operations and excellent customer experiences.
- Assist with administrative tasks and participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong cash-handling skills and basic math proficiency.
- Proficiency in computer systems and banking software.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience in banking or customer service is an advantage.
- Knowledge of banking products and services is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Fluency in English and Swahili (preferred).
