Joining instructions Form Five Ilulu Secondary School

Ilulu Secondary School is 300 meters east of the Njia Nne village bus stop. To reach the school from Dar es Salaam, take a bus from Mbezi or Mbagala Rangi Tatu Bus Station and alight at Njia Nne village.

Important Information to Note

1. School Uniforms

  • Skirts: Two maroon heavy fabric skirts. The skirts should be long, reaching from the ankle up to 18 cm (7.5 inches) above the hem. They must include a waistband not exceeding 5 cm (1.5 inches) wide with a box pleat style front and back.
  • Shirts: At least two white long-sleeve shirts (made of citron-tomato fabric) should be worn. For those wearing hijab, a half-kanzu and white tetron hijab should be worn.
  • Accessories:
    • Two or more pairs of white socks
    • Two pairs of black leather shoes with laces (no high heels)
    • Blue national flag color tracksuit (no tight fit or writing) for evening classes
    • Blue national flag color T-shirt for sports
    • Yellow T-shirt with black trim, available at school for 14,000/= TZS
    • Maroon sweater with the school logo, available for 15,000/= TZS at school
    • National flag blue outdoor work dress
  • Note: Only school-prescribed uniforms are allowed. Students in non-compliant attire will not be accepted.

    • Lockable metal trunk for belongings
    • 2.5 x 6-foot mattress
    • Two pairs of ocean blue sheets (plain, no flowers)
    • Towels, personal hygiene items, and sleeping pillows

    • Mathematical set
    • Scientific calculator for BAM students
    • Graph pad for Geography and Science students

3. Required Cleaning Supplies

  • Soft indoor broom, hard outdoor broom, mop, and 2 liters of toilet cleaner
  • Specific tools based on the student’s program (e.g., broom or panga for cleaning)

4. Other Clothing and Guidelines

  • Underwear, one set of khanga or kitenge, nightwear, and allowed evening wear

Fees and Contributions

Total Required Contributions: 80,000/= TZS (includes school operations fee, ID card fee, emblem, and emergency fund). All payments should be made to the school’s account at NMB Bank.

Offenses Leading to Expulsion: Theft, truancy, violence, substance abuse, inappropriate relationships, and any criminal activities.
