Duties and Responsibilities

1. Transcribing handouts, chapters, passages, and books into Braille format.
2. Servicing Braille equipment, digital voice recorders, and computers.
3. Performing minor maintenance of assistive devices.
4. Training and organizing sports and games for students with visual impairments.
5. Reading and recording books for talking book resources.
6. Performing any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, specializing in Braille and Assistive Technology.

Remuneration

• Salary Scale: PUSS 4.1
